All in My Journey

My Dream - Urban Maker Space, New York

We offer private studios - to fully equipped, shared workspaces. For the first half of this article, I’ll outline what my idea is and why I want to pursue this. The second half I’ll talk more about the business model behind it and how it will work. I’ve been refining and contemplating on the Maker Space concept for the last four months, and I’m proud to be able to share it with you in more detail today.

"What's on my mind" mini-series

I had four hours to kill on my flight from Toronto to Calgary so I wrote 5 short stories about things that have been on my mind for the last few weeks. Over the last week, I published these stories on LinkedIn but I wanted to put them all together here. As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts ✌️

Am I allowed to Say NO?

When am I allowed to say NO? It’s a question I’ve really been struggling with lately. Is there such a thing as saying NO too often? I really believe, and have experienced, the power of focus. And in order to stay focused, you have to say no sometimes.

I need your ideas!

On September 25th, 2017, I wrote in a Facebook post that I was starting a company in New York City. 6 months later, I can confirm that that’s the way I’m heading. “If it’s still in your mind it’s worth taking the risk” In these last six months though, I’ve hit more walls then I could ever imagine before, but I’m very grateful for every single hit as they all taught me some incredibly valuable lessons. It might sound cliché, but I can assure you it’s been quite a journey…

My experience after 6 months of being a Social Media Consultant

2 Years ago, I started a company called Tiny House Belgium. The one-and-only reason that company never lost any money was social media. In fact, social media is the reason I started THB. By posting photos and videos on Facebook of me building my own Tiny House, people started following me, asking me questions about how to do certain things and eventually people started asking if I could build a Tiny House for them.

My Journey to Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is something I’ve been interested in for a long time. Normally when people ask me what I do, I start 2 years ago. But in this article, I want to go back a little further. Back to when my parents decided to move to a different city in 2007 ( I was 9 years old at the time).

My Story in Short

2 years ago (2015) is where I usually start my story. Back then I just turned 17 and I loved the United States. I had been there once but knew that I one day wanted to live there. So on April 1st, 2015 I had the opportunity to go to California for the next 3 months.
